All infrastructure : pontoons walkway and office are relatively new. All services are available power and water landline phone internet electronics payment, WIFI lighting and alarms. Our boats are a mixture of modern polycraft fibreglass half cabs and aluminium all in great order. We sell bait as well as hiring rods. We also hire out kayaks and stand up paddle boards an arm of the business that can be expanded upon with lots of potential to explore Kanninook creek in any weather condition with either.
The business has always responded to public demand for early starts when the fish are biting the most fish finders on the boats gps marks and maps for the fishing spots. Rarely do we have issues with safety or mechanical problems with our reliable four stroke Yamaha's, mostly new models.
We cater for family groups with our large boats and for keen fisherman with our fast licensed ones or just once a year recreational fisherman. As well many customers just want to chill and drive our boats around.
We are in a very sheltered location and only allow access to Port Phillip in good weather conditions. There is nothing more to spend initially and the future is excellent. Generally we enjoy exclusive use in this area and into the future and a long secure license
We are situated with easy access from any of the suburbs of Melbourne. This is a huge advantage.
History
The business has operated since 1929 on this site. It has only changed hands three times since 1980. Its now new generations that come back to hire boats from here. Such is its reputation for reliable service and the longevity of its easy access and location. Originally row boats were hired and now modern fibreglass, polycrafts and aluminium water craft are for hire as well as new stand up paddle boards and double kayaks for hire. The latter on a daily or half daily rate. The business has always operated from early morning a key advantage.
