Low Risk - Multiple Income Business
United and Pie Face operates a simple business model with relatively low setup and entry costs. United and Pie Face commission agents will be able to earn potential profits from multiple income streams including fuel commission, and profit generated from Quick stop convenience store and Pie Face sales. It is imperative our operators keep their shops and cabinets full of stock and ready to sell, to maximise profit potential. Likewise, Agents must staff appropriately to ensure customers can be served to the highest standard, efficiently and that shop and forecourt standards can be maintained.
Minimum Required Food Experience:
Applicants must provide evidence of being a manager or owner from a food/retail business (not an assistant manager or shift manager), for more than 12 months within the last 5-year period.
Agents must demonstrate their unserstanding of safe and proper food handling, good personal hygiene and grooming standards and you must have a passion and affinity for food and customer service. Formal qualifications, training certificates and referees to support their food business experience may be required.
United and Pie Face provides a fully managed annual promotional program for our Agents delivered via 12-13 periodic camopaigns. This includes a series of in store printed assets, digital assets and access to preferential promotional pricing. We actively utilise and invest in social media platforms to promote the business and continue to innovate with new product offerings to enhance our convenience store and food offer. Commission Agents will benefit from United's in house marketing team and agency partners.
All Commission Agents will receive detailed training to effectively and efficiently learn how to operate the convenience store, petroleum segment and the Pie Face offering. Initial training comprises both online virtual learning, workshops and in store 'hands on' experience. Commission Agents will also receive ongoing practical training and support from head office, with a dedicated field manager and regular store visit cycles.
We seek Commission Agents who are 'hands on', have a passion for retail & food and have previous experience leading and managing teams. Our successful agents believe in hard work, spend their time on the 'shop floor' and importantly have the willingness to learn, adapt and be flexible with working hours. Agents must be able to manage and delegate tasks and ensure comnpliance and standards are maintained. Prior experience working in retail and food is imperative given the customer service, merchandising, baking and food safety requirements.
