About the Business
Through a series of events, the shopping centre owners ended up owning and operating the Foodworks supermarket.
The store is in 1,300 sqm and does about $200,000 pw turnover (excl GST) at about 25.5% GP. We are the first to admit that we have not been running it particularly well and there is upside through better penetration into the local market and reduced operating costs.
So we are looking for good operators to run an independent supermarket.
